Close to Nowhere
01/30/2008When i saw the pearl street address online, i had mistakenly thought that the property was close to downtown - it's not. it's out on the very outskirts ..did ...
When I saw the Pearl Street address online, I had mistakenly thought that the property was CLOSE to downtown - IT'S NOT. It's out on the very outskirts ..did I say out? You are not within walking distance of anything....
I had some Marriott giftcards that I planned to use to pay for my trip - $800 worth. When I checked in, the hotel did not know how to process the giftcards, and didn't know who to call. They told me that I would have to put the room on my credit card, until they figured it out...which pretty much ruined our stay as I didn't have an "extra" grand on my credit card - since I also had a car rental on it!!! To me, there was no excuse - they should know how to process their own gift cards, and not have left me "high and dry" for 7 days. They did comp me breakfast (whoopee...$10...) for 2 of the 7 days..... -
