We came from Philadelphia, PA for a 25th Class Reunion and stayed 3 nights. We really enjoyed ourselves at the hotel. The hotel was in a great location from the airport. It was also convenient to all the places we had to go. The front desk staff was very friendly and always willing to assist with our needs. They have a book with directions to different locations at their finger tips to waiting. I really loved the security at the hotel. No one could access the parking lot unless you are buzzed in by the front gate after giving your last name and room number. The breakfast buffet is fantastic and the persons waiting on you are so kind and accommodating. My husband & I woud like to say, "Thank-you Courtyard by Marriott Memphis Airport for making our stay fabulous. We will see you again on our next trip to Memphis".

10/30/2008Can't say enough good things about this hotel. everyone was pleasent and helpful and the rooms were just perfect. i would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Had to check in 3 times between 3 pm and 6 pm to get 2 rooms that had been reserved. When we finally got the first room, it was a smoking room. Went back to the front desk, and asked them if this was a smoke free hotel, and they just shrugged their shoulders. The front desk staff were non-helpful, to say the least. We finally got the second room, which was fine. The parking lot was in a security gated area, with signs posted that the management was not responsible for any vehicle. The entire neighborhood surrounding the hotel was full of litter and trash. Marriott should remove their name from this hotel.

The facility was phenomenal. The staff extremely courteous and helpful. I had never been to Memphis. The staff was kind enough to recommend and provide directions to various places. I was only in town a few days-- but by the 1st evening the employee knew me by name. Kudos to the staff and management. I would visit again.
