The hotel was so torn up with construction we didn't even check in. When we arrived, a whole wing was boarded up. Talk about depressing! The central wing had many rooms undergoing construction, with large dumpsters all over the place. We had 2 rooms booked and paid for, but instead opted to continue on and stay at another hotel which we knew would be satisfactory. Very, very disappointing, especially in light of the advertised guarantee to notify you if your hotel is under construction. I woud think twice before booking in a Day's Inn again. Buyer beware. This was not a cheap reservation. It ended up only $50 cheaper than the 5 diamond resort we ended up in, so this was a very expensive and disappointing experience. The pool is the size of a postage stamp, and is tucked into the asphalt parking lot beside the dumpsters.
