The first room we were assigned had a very strong ODOR - *Cleaning Fluids??) We requested another room. The next room was OK until the TOILET would not flush. Called desk and an emplpyee was semt. The employee did not speak English. Took her to the bathroom and attempted to show her the problem. She left and bought a plunger, handed it to me and left. I took care of the problem. The shower, bath tub did not drain properly and advised the office and that the toilet still flushed very slowly. We stayed at this location because we had other relatives at this motel also.
We then went to a Days Inn in Elizabeth City, NC. The paint on the roof was pealing, a couple cars parked in the parking lot were in poor repair. The chair the office person was setting in was worn out. We canceled our reservations and went next door to a Holiday Inn.
