This hotel was in need of renovation. The house keeping was poor, and we had 3 people in the room and had to request towels every day of our stay. There was a stain on the wall that could have been cleaned off with a good cleaner.

The location is an industrial area and it is more than 2 blocks from the beach. The hotel service was with attitude and their 24 hour cancellation policy does not exist--try to invoke it and you will find that if something comes up--you lose. This hotel is way out of its price range asking twice as much as a Days Inn in the S. Padre area and frankly I would suggest the Shereton, same cost but they have service with a smile and just in case something does happen their cancellation policy is kind to the wallet. Days Inn is a dump and that is how their attitude as well.

09/24/2007Overall room was nice. plumbing lacked. shower/tub did not drain properly and had to stand in water up to ankles to shower. sink in bathroom leaked.
