For the price paid, we were pretty disappointed. You'd think there would be more hotels in the Outer Banks, but there aren't and therefore they can charge quite a bit. Location is good, right on beach, near movie theater, fishing pier and beach supply stores. Room was pretty small. Bathroom sink was in the sleeping area. Had to hold down toilet handle for several seconds to completely flush. Room had secure door to adjoining room, however you could smell cooking coming through. And room was non-smoking but could smell the lingering smoke. In its favor, the king size bed was actually quite comfortable. Room did have microwave and good size mini-fridge. Free breakfast was adequate. Would not recommend, rent a beach house if possible.

we stayed in one bedroom oceanside suite for 5 nights. it was nice. We could see water from out room. room was clean-maybe a little crowded. The second bed was pushed very close to the bathroom door and if we had someone who was elderly or overweight, they would have had trouble accessing the bathroom. didn't use the kitchen as much as I thought we would. . . but it was full size fridge, microwave, oven and stovetop. Also had limited dishes and silverware. (which surprised me.) Staff were very friendly and prompt. Bathroom adequate and clean. Breakfasts were good. Fruit, coffee, cereal, donuts, bagels, waffles, yogurt, juice. Easy access to beach-although sometimes crowded. Just short walk on beach to nicer area. I would stay here again if I was staying for 1-2 nights. We stayed 5 nights and it was a little long.

This motel was just OK. We stayed off season and paid $* a night for the ocean front room. Yes, we could see the ocean however there are no private balconies to enjoy the view. We could open our curtain to see the ocean, but then everyone who walked by could see into our room which I did not like. The ""balcony"" is the exterior corridor to access the rooms. There were no chairs outside the rooms to sit on. The rooms were fine but worn and could use an update. You can tell its very used in the summer months. The bed seemed newer and fairly comfortable but the bedding could use replacing. The fridge/microwave was nice to have. Free WiFi was also nice. Parking is also an issue. It was very limited during the off season, so I can't imagine how tight it must be during the summer. Marked spots are extremely close together. Overall the motel is ok however I would not pay extra for the ocean front view. You definitely get what you pay for. It's a typical Days Inn experience.

The hotel seemed a bit run down and the regular rooms were pretty small. The location was good and was close to the movie threater and shopping. It was nice that the hotel offered YMCA passes for fitness use and access to indoor pool. Overall for the price it was not bad, but would probably not stay their again!!

Was able to check in early. Friendly staff. We stayed in a queen suite and it was clean and was equipped with a new refrigerator and two televisions. Continental breakfast was adequate. Nice location on the beach and attractions are a quick drive.
