I have never written a review nor felt I had a need to, until now. I had such a frightening experience at this hotel and was treated with such apathy and disregard, that I feel I would be remiss for not warning others. Here's my story... I was taking a cross country trip with my elderly mother who often must wear a leg brace and has difficulty walking. As we pulled into a parking space , a police car pulled up behind us. The police officer got out of the car and went after a young man, yelling at him to stop. My mother and I froze. We could not get out of the car without being in the middle of this. The officer proceeded to frisk him, shake him and then tried to handcuff him and get him into the car. The young man kept trying to resist the police officer. By now I was in fear for my mother's safety and ability to keep safe, so I told her to shut the door and we left. I immediately called the hotel as I drove off to let them know that I was too afraid to stay there because of what I had just witnessed with my mother. Not only did they refuse to allow me to cancel the reservation, but they were rude and disrespectful to me. I know that hotels have policies for cancellations, but to me, this was extenuating circumstances. I tried several times afterwards to appeal to the owner and general mangaer of this hotel work with me, but they refused and were again rude to me. I do not recommend anyone stay at this hotel, because of the fact that customer safety is not a concern or priority of theirs.

Beginning with the staff. Rude and extremely unpleasant. Caught in a flat out lie on more than one occassion. The rooms were dirty, the "clean" linens needed to be changed prior to using them. The towels were paper thin. I went down to get some extra towels. Upon inspection the towels were dirty as well. We were part of a very large party. One of the children in our party was walking barefoot in his room and cut his foot on a piece of glass. This happened just after we checked in. The one bright spot is the beds were actually very comfortable. I question the safety. They need to demolish this hotel and start all over.

This motel is older than most but it was very clean. The personnel at front desk spoke clear English and were very courteous.We did not find bed bugs as told in other review.The room had both a microwave and refrigerator.We would stay here again. Also the room was very clean.

07/17/2007Move on, drive furthur but stay here. filthy rooms , rude foreign staff couldn't speak in english. bed bugs no breakfast. worst days inn ever.
