The worst hotel ever, in so many different ways.

The door closer doesn't dampen the closing, it just slams shut, then bounces back a bit, to close a bit slower this time. There is little helpful signage to direct you to the place.
We got in at 2:00 in the morning. The front desk clerk shouldn't have been by herself, as she was completely befuddled. My sister had reserved the rooms, and intended on paying for them while my mother, my wife and I were in town for Thanksgiving. The desk clerk promptly told my mother, there MAY be someone already in your rooms. She wasn't quite sure. She seemed to strongly consider knocking on the doors to see - at 2:00 a.m.
We've been on the road now for 11 hours, driving from Detroit, so we're all a bit sleepy. After a phone call to wake my sister (with a seven month old baby) to talk to her about this predicament. I'm not clear on why.
My mother asked a question she should not have been required to ask, as it is too obvious. "Do you have any rooms?" "Yes", the befuddled desk clerk says at around 2:30a.m.
So we finally got room cards for two rooms, very much like the ones my sister had confirmation #s for. Only one was non-smoking, otherwise I can't see there was much difference. The heat was not on, the rooms were cold. Mom found someone's sock under the blanket where it hits the floor by the bed in her room.
Free Continental Breakfast from 6-10; by 9:00 a half bagel, empty doughnut box, and nothing larger than a shotglass-sized cup for juice.
Room Service from the bar? Not on Thanksgiving weekend. It was closed from Wednesday till Monday.
To sum up: Don't stay here. -

Hall carpets are beyond threadbare. Thought the tub would fall through - it had cracks in the bottom. The in-room safe didn't work. The internet connection was on the opposite corner of the room from the desk. No remote in the room at check-in so had to call the front desk. Found a roach crawling up the wall and when I moved a chair to kill it, a plastic bottle rolled out. This bring the cleanliness of the room into question. Breakfast was served in the bar on the on-site resteraunt. I believe this was to get you to buy their $* buffett instead of eat toast & muffins. The buffett was cold and yucky. Then, they charged me $* for a glass of coke. Pay a little more and stay somewhere else. Oh yeah, security. If I had been traveling alone, I would've been scared. There were a lot of drunks in front of the bar at night. and the light over the back door was out.
