  We picked this hotel for its location off the highway. The worst mistake we ever made in choosing a hotel! We should have realized this by the small amount of cars in their parking lot. First, the hotel staff was not too friendly upon check in. There was also some sort of rancid odor in the lobby air. On our way to our room, which was closer to the back of the hotel property, we passed by an open door in which we were given somewhat of a show. mind you, we had our 3 year old daughter with us. We finally get to our room, exhausted and wanting to relax...wanting to yet couldn't...The room had a foul odor to it and was absolutely filthy! There was strands of hair in the bathroom and atached to hand towels. We opened the nightstand drawer and there was dirt [or something like it] in it. There's also the topic of small little critters crawling around the bathtub...I could get into that but it gives me the heebie jeebies just thinking about it...bottom line - we wound up staying there ONLY because we had already paid for it through online travel website and would have lost money...maybe we should have gotten up and left but who knows if and when we would have found another available room and our 3 year old was exhausted.
  PS: We all slept fully clothed on top of the covers.
