Normally, I dont write these reviews, but in this case I will have to. The world must know about this Roach Motel. Looking at the place, it seems as if itll fall down any moment. When you walk into the front desk...its like a time machine back to the 30's. Everything went downhill from there. Rather then to explain things that the other guests have elaborated in their reviews below...all I want to say is "YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET.

My family and I decided to stay at the Days Inn of Meridian because all the other places were booked. From the minute I stepped into the office, I felt the age of this hotel...it was apparently built in the 60's. The front desk clerk did even honor to give me a military discount saying that they do not honor military discount. My room had an excellent view....the back of a local motel. When we entered the room, it smelled of urine and everything was outdated. The Hi-Speed Internet that they boasted about did not even work. Later on that night, a bunch of truckers were sitting outside our door drinking and talking loudly. I called the front desk and they said they couldnt do anything about that because "they had paid for the room." I still dont know what she meant. Around 2 A.M., my family and I heard loud music and what seemed to be like a party. I personally went upstairs to that room and there sure enough was a motel room party with 20-25 people. I asked them to turn the music off or else ill call the front desk, but they told go ahead. I went to the front desk and the desk clerk told me that she couldnt nothing about it because "its just too late." I am never going to stay at a Days Inn ever again
