Hotel and pool was clean and the staff was quite friendly. Breakfast was okay--mostly cereal, bagels and muffins. The fridge in the room was good sized and the microwave was easy to use. There's a small playground at the bottom of the hill and its next door to the Jasper 8 Cinema. My only concern was the county correctional center was right across the street--granted there's probably not your hard core felons at this center and the security was satisfactory at the hotel. But this was something I would have wanted to know before I booked the place.

Wasn't expecting much at such a good price, but was very pleased with my stay. Front office staff was friendly and helpful (with free cookies offered), room was large and clean, and a free buffet breakfast was offered from 6:00am to 9:00am next morning. Would highly recommend.

We needed a simple, comfortable, clean room near Jasper. This fit our needs. We were suprised how comfortable the pillows were. The room was clean. We enjoyed the small refridgerator and that the windows opened for fresh air. Hotel was quiet and restful. This was a furniture buying trip to Jasper with my mother and husband. We were all pleased with our room. The pool was small but secured by lock and very clean. Putt-put green was a fun surprise. Breakfast was the ""cheapo"" ""contenental breakfast"" the dining area was very clean, but the selection was all sugar and carbs. Apples and bananas were the fresh fruit. Breakfast won't sway you to stay here. Night desk staff was very nice and helpful with ideas of local festivals and directions. If I visit Jasper again, I would consider this hotel again. Restful--good value

After spending a long day at Holiday World with 3 cranky kids, the last thing I wanted to do was take a tour of Jasper, Indiana at 10:30pm. But that is exactly what I did trying to find the hotel. The directions from Google were horrible and the Days Inn Website directions weren't much help either. I even had to stop and ask for directions from a local and those directions were confusing. I ended up on the wrong side of town and had to zig-zig my way back. Overall, the hotel was okay. Our room did have two entrances, which was nice. One to the parking lot and one to the hallway. Unloading/loading to and from the parking lot was made easier with this feature. The price listed in the room was $/night and there is no way that I would ever pay that for this room. Luckily the travel website cut me a nice break. The two queen beds were comfortable, and the shower was hot. The Continental Breakfast was lacking with donuts and muffins.

The room was clean, bed comfy, and in general good condition. Staff was friendly and helpful. We did have some problems with the hotel, our air-conditioner went out in the middle of the night and we needed to switch to another room, however the staff was able to switch us to another room quickly and were apologetic for the inconvenience. The hotel has a pool, kids playground, and three hole putting course. Some people may want to know that the hotel is located directly across the street from the county correctional center and some rooms have outside entrances.
