They gave us a room that was supposedly handicapped accessed. There was a tub in the room that had grab bars that were in the tub only, none on the outside and about 1/2 of the tub was blocked by the loose handicapped sink. Both grab bars next to the toilet were loose and there was no way a person who walked with a cane could get into this tub, much less a person in a wheelchair. They should be reported to the ADA!
This is the absolute worse 'handicapped accessed' room I've EVER stayed in. Plus they only had two handicapped parking places in the front and the rest were in the rear of the property far enough away that both of us had trouble walking the distance back into the hotel. Very poor hotel for one associated with the Comfort Inn brand. And I agree there was mold in the bathroom! -

The hotel did not honor my reservation as made. The night clerk was rude in dismissing my concerns and seemed more interested in finishing his cigarette just outside the main door. The halls smelled like disinfectant, the room smelled like moth balls. The morning clerk concocted a story that was inconsistent with the night clerk. One of them was lying to me. Choice hotels needs to inspect this property and decertify it. It doesn't belong in their chain.

The toilet in one room wasn"t flush ing, upon removing the tank top it was full of rust and mold. Had we seen it at night we would have left but this was in Am. The other room we found mold in the shower in am. Ugh! We did report it and received a discount. Breakfast area so crowded that if one was making toast no one else could get at anythi ng. Waffle maker kept burning them so area was full of smoke and smells. Only 4 tables to sit at and they were so close you couldn't seat 4. They need to clean out the tanks with a stain remover and disinfect for the mold. The chairs in the wooded area where extremely dusty as was the bottom of the table on the legs. Surface cleaning only. Bend and clean. Sure will never stay there again!!!!!!!
