  This hotel was disappointing. I understood that it would be modest, but I was not prepared for a room that was dirty and in disrepair: the ceiling was crumbling, rusty, and falling in; the toilet was not fastened to the floor; the sofa was so visibly filthy that I did not even put my suitcase on it; the carpet was old, stained, and visibly dirty; and the smoke and close air was not successfully masked by the spray they used. I asked to be moved, and was moved to a room that was marginally better, but still with filthy carpet and sofa. The first morning, I was awakened around 7:30 or 8:00 by the noisy maid cart outside the door, and at 8:30 by the maid knocking. I did not answer as I was in bed. When I returned to the room late that night, my key did not open the door and I got a replacement from the night clerk. Entering the room, I saw that the room had not been serviced. The phone did not work at all and I called the desk with my own cell phone. The clerk told me to come down again to the office and he would give me clean towels. I should also mention that the waffle and some dry doughnuts were the sum of the breakfast buffet. Clean does not properly describe the towels as they were stained and dingy. I left as soon as possible the next morning and vowed never to patronize a Day's Inn. I felt trapped because I had prepaid; only later did I remember that I might have called my online travel website and received some satisfaction and perhaps a move to another property.

  Door to room was open. there is a problem with the latch. you have to slam the door for it to close all of the way.

  I stayed in 2006 and wasn't impressed. My room was fine but some of my friends had issues with the room, then with the bill. This time it was much better. The room was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly. Lots of grassy areas to walk dogs.

  Room was disgusting! Had fkies, mold in the pictures, a wall of the jacuzzi tub was broken, cable was fuzzy, and it smelled. Clerk did not help me in the least. I will never stay there again.
