Stayed three nights. My daughter and I came from AZ to find a apartment for her and husband who will be returning from Iraq. We were a little scared being in different parts of Fay. but felt safe at the hotel. The beds were super comfortable and the room was nice and staff was very nice. Nice breakfast and they had two computers in lobby with internet that we used. The only thing was we had a non-smoking room but at night we could smell smoke in our room late at night, two out of the three nights. I would pick this hotel again.

[On my most recent trip to Fayetteville, I needed to stay an extra night and the Hilton Garden Inn was sold out. Holiday Inn Express offered a room to me for the same price I had paid for at Hilton Garden Inn.] The hotel is adequate, but rather expensive for the services they provide. As a frequent traveler to Fayetteville (husband in military/and for business) I found that not having a pool on-site was a disadvantage (nearly every hotel has an outdoor pool), especially for the higher price than other hotels. This hotel did not have a free business center (had to pay for Internet use) and no readily-available wireless Internet in the rooms. So for Business, I would go elsewhere I did appreciate it being across the street from the mall, and within a walking distance to some restaurants - just watch the traffic! If you want to go to Best Buy, Target, etc. located on the same road but down about a mile, you will need to have a car if you're not up for walking. However, like the other reviews, it is hard to tell where it is located on the road. The staff is friendly and they serve cookies in the evenings, similar to other hotels in the area. The rooms are a bit dated, which they have worked on, but not completely and the bathtubs need to be replaced, as mine had cracks that they tried to fill in with caulk. Compared to the other hotels in Fayetteville that I have stayed at, I place the Hilton Garden Inn on top!
