We stayed here twice in 2008, and are returning this September. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable re restaurants and activities. Room was very clean and they were generous with towels, pillows, blankets, etc. This is an older motel that has been renovated but not remodeled, and the carpet drapes and bedspreads are dark colored. Room would look better if the bedspreads and drapes were light colored, Breakfast is great--cold and hot cereal, bagels, muffins, fruit, juice, peanut butter, jelly/jam, cream cheese, croissants, etc. Plenty of food, but get there early.

Stayed twice in 2008 and are returning Sept 2009. We find this Days Inn a good value, especially for the area. Motel is renovated, and they put in dark drapes, carpet and bedspreads. Room would be more cheerful if the drapes and bedspreads were lighter in color. Breakfast is great--hot and cold cereals, croissants, muffins, bagels, English muffins, fruit, juice, peanut butter, cream cheese, etc. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Room was clean and comfortable. Great rate compared to several others in the area, because they were only 300 yards closer to the beach. Overall good accomodations with great staff. Very pleasant on arrival and check-in was quick. Young lady working the desk was very polite and helpfull, offering info as to amenities and location of restraunts ect. Would return again.

Overall the motel was clean and tidy. No real surprises. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is NOT on the ocean, but is about 2 - 3 blocks from ocean. Bed was hard and unforgiving.

The Pros ? The person who registered us was friendly and fast. High speed wireless Internet was included in the rate. This was very nice. I have stayed at several high end hotel chains and the Internet was not wireless and/or there was an extra fee to the already pricey rate. Days Inn really delivered on this one. The Cons ? We booked online and the only room we were able to confirm was smoking. The front desk informed us that the only way to get a non-smoking room was if we called the hotel directly to make the reservation. I found this to be rather outdated in this high tech world. Fortunately, when we arrived, there was a non-smoking room available. Unfortunately, we found multiple cigarette holes on our blankets.
