Nasty, filthy hotel. Looks okay from the street, but as you go around the back, LOOK OUT. Mold in the shower. Peeling paint and more mold on the walls. And the room STANK so bad, we had to buy air freshener. I knew it would be bad the minute I walked in, the halls smelled just as bad. They even had one of those ultrasonic plug in pest repellants in the room. That night, the satellitle TV kept popping in and out, CNN on 5 channels!

This hotel was very clean - nice friendly staff. However, there was some kind of a party going on in our hallway between the room across from us and next door - loud talking, laughing, drinking. Started at midnight - I opened the door and asked them to keep it down. Called front desk 1/2 hour later and they sent security up. They argued with security, called security some unmentionable names. It quieted down some, but we couldn't sleep. We got up at 3:30 AM and left at 4:30 AM. The desk clerk was more than willing to refund our money, but since we had booked through Travel online we had to contact them. The walls did seem thin, but the other guests were loud and obnoxious running between the rooms. Not a good experience. I personally feel they should have been kicked out.

Needs a serious overhaul. Rooms appear dingy and dirty. The room was horribly noisy since rm was right next to the exit door and the slamming of it was unbearable. Good sports bar with nice bartenders. Will help you sleep through the door slamming!

We have a reservation for Black Friday weekend on the 28th & 29th. Our plans changed and we have to cancel the reservation. What we found out was that we booked a room with a ?no change or cancellation policy?. We did not see the notice when we booked it online that we could not change or cancel our reservation. This is the first time experience for us with respect to a no cancellation policy. We told them it was an honest mistake on our part and they kept feeding us the party line of we are sorry, but this is a no cancellation reservation so you will be charged for it. They would not even make an exception. I asked X at the Butler Inn if he will still rent our room at to someone else and he evaded the question. I somehow doubt they will leave the room empty knowing we have cancelled our stay. I think that goes under the heading of double dipping. Well we have learned our lesson to be more careful with online reservation, but since Days Inn has decided not to be nice, we will never stay at their hotel or any of the hotels that are part of the Wyndham chain.
