We went to Mohegan Sun to see the Jimmy Buffett concert. We stayed at the Days Inn Mystic. The room was very nice. It was big, clean, and comfortable. However, they had the worst coffee in the world! As we were checking out I saw another guest walk out and dump her whole cup out. We also had a lot of trouble getting our key to work in the door. It worked everywhere else ( Fitness room and exterior doors) but our door. I told the desk so I assume they will fix it.

I would like to say that I was very disappointed in this Days Inn for a couple of reasons. First, they didn't want to be bothered with giving any information about the area and they ran out of discount coupons for the attractions in the area i.e.. Mystic Aquarium, so the guy told us to try to get some at one of the other hotels. Also, we got up early to go to the continental breakfast, the O.J. tasted like water and the waffle mix they used tasted like soggy cardboard. Never again!!!

Stayed 2 nights in Mystic Ct at the Days Inn - never again. this is the second horrible experience with this hotel chain. First stay was in Harrisburg PA - heat in bathroom did not work - switched rooms - lamps had no light bulbs. Complimentary breakfast - toasters were so old that the caught on fire - maintenance who replaced light bulbs was now the breakfast server and repaired the toaster. Mystic stay - room was very damp and mildewed - shower grout was moldy, beds were worn to the point that they continually slid of the box springs. Housekeepers did not replace supplies which were used. Even with a do not disturb sign on the door they came in and cleaned and a hour later again came in with towels saying she could not leave them the first time because whe was due for lunch. Call to hotel manager and then to Days Inn corporate office, accomplished absoultely nothing. Will never stay again - you get what you pay for - NOTHING!

JUST STAYED OVER NIGHT. CLEAN ROOM, POOL OK, SERVICE AND LOCATION GOOD. FREE BREAKFEST, PLENLTY TO EAT HELP YOURSELF, GOOD PARKING , GOOD LOCATION, NOT FAR FROM THE BEACHES

The hotel in general was not bad.... The cleanliness is another matter. It was obvious that the cleaning crew does a quick sweep with no attention to detail. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom had prior "prints" on it, the chair in the main room had remnants of the previous guests packaging from the coffee maker stuffed into the cushion, I also believe I was double charged. The trip to the casino from this hotel was approx. 6 miles down dark and winding roads. Don't think I would stay here again.
