The hotel is conveniently located right off of I-55. We stopped in late at night and the staff upgraded our room to a suite without us even asking. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable which was a definite plus since we were exhausted. The pool was closed since it was so late, but it looked clean and well kept. This hotel is a great value.

I requested a non-smoking room, which was promised. However, the room smelled of stale smoke. Even worse, when I checked in, housekeepers were still in the room and they were smoking! The carpeting and bedspreads were filthy/stained and the towels (all 2 of them) were threadbare. The window would not lock (and this was a first floor room overlooking a salvage-type yard). It was impossible to complain about anything because no one at desk spoke English (or pretended not to understand). Never, never again!

I requested a non-smoking room, which was promised. However, the room smelled of stale smoke. Even worse, when I checked in, housekeepers were still in the room and they were smoking! The carpeting and bedspreads were filthy/stained and the towels (all 2 of them) were threadbare. The window would not lock (and this was a first floor room overlooking a salvage-type yard). It was impossible to complain about anything because no one at desk spoke English (or pretended not to understand). Never, never again!
