    The front desk person was very friendly and helpful both on the phone and when I checked in. I got a $* rate which was the same as other places I stayed in my trip to Southern Florida. I found this hotel convenient to The Everglades(also hit Sonny's down the street if you're looking for some BBQ/eats). Typical king size room for me. Very quiet. Bed was firm and plenty of pillows! Very clean. I was thankful for the in-room desk since I had a lot of work to do while on vacation. The only bad experience was the internet went down late in the evening. I was able to send my e-mails in the morning from the lobby. The curses of WIFI... FYI, it's Florida, The A/C in the room is set on fan when the room is empty. Don't expect the room to be dry and cool when you walk in. I was a little concerned the A/C set on high wasn't going to do the job, but the room was fine by the time I got back from dinner. Relax, you're on vacation, right? I can't speak to the breakfast, I was in a hurry to get back to The Glades. I would stay here again and I think the room was a good deal. I was able to park right in front of my room. I'm not sure that would be the case in the high season.

    Desk clerk gave us wrong room # at check in. no hot water in am for shower. sheets didn't fit bed. breakfast very disappointing.substituted generic raisin bran for kellogg' ...

    Don't stay here EVER! I can't believe Days Inn allows their name on the place. I contacted Days Inn after returning home and they apologized and promised that the manager would be in contact to discuss the situation. No contact was ever made. This place only stays in business because there are no decent hotels in the area. Do yourself a favor and make the drive to a decent hotel further away if you need to be in Homestead.
