We booked three rooms for Hurricane Gustav evacuation. When we opened the doors to our rooms they had not been cleaned. We complained. They did clean them. We were tired from sleeping in our vehicles the night before, because the hurricane hit a day earlier than expected. This hotel is under construction. The only things around for thirty miles is a casino and a few gas stations. It does have a pool, which kept the kids occupied so they did not worry about home. It has cable but only 5 channels can be viewed without blinking in and out or without a buzzing noise. It was not neccessarily a bad experience, considering the alternative to evacuation was staying home and being flooded in, we personally would not choose this hotel again.

It's an excellent location for staying at the casino and it's right off the freeway. However, the check-in clerk had an attitude that made arriving guests look at each other!!!!!!!!!!!!!
