  Chose this hotel due to its location to the ball fields in Belmont and didn't want to have to drive far after a day at the tournament. Fulton is a great exit with plenty of fast food choices for breakfast lunch and dinner. There is a Wal-Mart close to the hotel for all other needs and plenty of gas stations to choose from. The Staff at the hotel were excellent to deal with and their Southern Hospitality was evident in all of our dealings with them. Even when we checked out early due to what we believed were sub par rooms they were completely accommadating. The Lobby and the grounds of the hotel are well kept, but due to the age of the hotel the rooms are small and tend to have that musty smell and humid feel. The A/C was not turned on prior to our arrival and that would have certainly helped fight back some of this Mississippi heat. In anticipation of having to spend at least 4 days in this hotel we knew we would need more room for a family of four (we were walking on one another and had no place to put all of our luggage) so we checked out after one night and were able to find a larger, cleaner, recently built Wingate with much more comfortable beds 20 miles up the road.
