The only reason we chose this hotel was that it had a pool and had a vacancy on the dates requested. We got to the hotel, hot and sweaty from a fun-filled day at the Renassaince Festival and check in. We ask if the pool is open, the clerk says yes. We go down there, the pool is locked AND there is a dead bird floating in the water. We go back to the desk and tell her and she says "oh yeah, the filter is broken, there is a guy working on it and it will be open tomorrow morning." So we go to our rooms. The next day, the bird is (obviously) still dead and still floating. We tell the clerk that we are dissatisfied with our stay and explain the want of a clean working pool. She basically told us take it or leave it and we left. We managed to find a hotel 20 miles away that had a clean pool and curtious staff. The rooms were nice and clean and the breakfast was pretty good, but the staff and obviously the pool were terrible.

Each year we stay here for a nearby family reunion. This hotel use to be a nice place to stay. But, not this time. The door lock was broken and security was breached. The pool was green and could not be used. The complimentary breakfast was sparse w/nothing much left to eat 30 minutes after it began. So, all in all, BAD and will look for somewhere else to stay while in Waggoner Ok.

My friend and I came in to town for a weekend. We had both called a head of time to get details and the scoop on the hote. The front desk told us how clean the rooms were . . . so not true. We had black mold in our first room on the ceiling and so many ants we thought the runner board was black not only that but my sheets had black tire tracks on them. . .after we asked for another room we got much attitude from the front desk as if we had done something wrong. She hadn't even gotten our room details figured out from the first room nor did she know how much the room would be. After we pulled everything into our new room we left for the night to come back to a missing smoke detector. . thats right no working smoke detector and more ants, the toilet was not cleaned, there was trash under and to the side of the bed, something had ate through the curtains that didn't stay shut, the tub was soooo gross with hair and smoke burns *even know it was a "non-smoking" room. When we left the front desk still could not figure our total out without calling the main number then they tried to not give us the disccount we were promised. When we asked to talk to the manager who is also the owner she said no because he was sleeping in the other room. . at the hotel. . IT WAS SOOOOO BAD PLEASE TAKE MY WORD!!!! SOOO BAD!
