A bit of a dump. Wallpaper coming undone on the room walls and in the stairwell, tub drain didn't drain, too few towels. Wife said it's the worst she's ever experienced. It is cheap, tho.

This hotel is on the main drag in Havelock. It is situated right next to a bar and grill. The walls are thin and whenever anyone walks above you, it sounds like a heard of elephants are stampeding on the second floor. The police were called to the bar next door at 12:30am on the night we stayed, to break up a group of drunks who were fighting in the parking lot. However the hotel was clean and the staff was generally helpful. Just don't expect a peaceful night's sleep.

We stayed only one night. The bed was uncomfortable, not to mention being bitten by bed bugs, one landing in a glass of milk on the night stand! The carpet was very mildewed. The only way I would stay again is if we brought a room fogger/ our own linens/ and checked the carpet beorehand to see it if was wet!

The rooms wreaked of mildew, We spent as much time as possible at the family reunion so we wouldn't have to go back to the hotel room. The furniture was chipped and ugly and the bathroom was a walkin closet with a tub and toilet. The mic/fridge was a nice touch. This is the kind of place you stop over for the night while on the way to something much better.
