This hotel was perfect for my visit to Philadelphia! The rooms were very clean and the property was very well maintained. The staff was very helpful with directions to downtown Philadelphia, only 10 minute drive! The major shopping mall was very close and offered plenty of places to eat. The rate was much more affordable than any Philadelphia hotel! I definitely recommend this place!

  • Great deal for the price

We spent 6 days last week at this hotel and we enjoyed our stay very much, the complementary breakfast was good even though I thought the coffee was a little weak, the pool was nice my son and I spent about 5 days at the pool, our room which was room number 125 was a very nice room it had a new fridge and microwave and the bathroom looked new but the best thing was it had two full size beds and a pull out couch so we had plenty of room for the four of us, they had two computers in the lobby for guests use so there was never a wait to get on the computer, the city of Philadelphia was about 10 minutes away over the Ben Franklyn Bridge which cost four dollars round trip which is reasonable, we used the city pass which was six attractions for 58 dollars for adults and 39 dollars for children which is a good deal, also by the hotel there are many chain restaurants (Outback etc.) so we ate in a different restaurant every night there is also a nearby mall and movie theatre and Walmart is across the street, so I highly recommend this hotel.

When we checked in to our two rooms, one of the rooms was a smoking room. Since we did not want a smoking room, we requested another room. We were told that the hotel was full and they could not move us. When we went to the room, it smelt very much of cigarettes. I again requested to be moved to any other room that is a non-smoking room, since the parking lot was empty. I was told that they may be expecting a big crowd of ""Jehova Witnesses"" that night and could not accomodate us. We left to go into Philadelphia for the evening and when we returned after 10:00 pm, the parking lot was still empty, and it remained so in the morning. I guess the Jehova Witnesses went someplace else!

This Days Inn was one of the last motels built with the "outside door" style of construction (no interior hallways). Though it is an old style motel in that regard, it is quite ok and economical. It is very near (walking distance) to a new Walmart, and not far from a brand new movie theatre complex. It is also a short drive to the Cherry Hill Mall - a major regional mall that is being heavily renovated (for 2009). It is in a good area and not at all near any dangerous neighborhoods. This hotel is a reasonable value, clean and convenient.

They had advertised wireless internet. Never once connected. Then they told me to hook up with a cable. I did that and i still could not connect. Complained all week and nothing was ever done. Was told no one knew anything about it. The 2nd to last day we were there, housekeeping came early. We asked them to come back, they said ok. When we returned from our day trip our room still had not been cleaned. Also even though it is listed as Cherry Hill it is on the edge of Camden which is not a nice town to stay in. The room was ok but because of the service I will never stay there again.
