We stayed at the Days Inn in Carlisle on the way to Great Smoky Mountains National Park (a day's drive further south). We were so comfortable that we immediately decided to book a room for the return trip. The staff is pleasant and the rooms clean and well furnished. Breakfast is adequate. They also have a small bar upstairs that operates until 10:00 p.m. (11:00 on weekends). Prices are modest, which makes this hotel a nice bargain.

The front desk staff was tremendous, friendly and quick to offer assistance whenever needed. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable and the shower was oversize and had a soap dispenser in it. Breakfast each morning was hot and one did not have to wait for food to be prepared. All in all we could not have asked for more. I strongly recommend this property to anyone wanting a reasonable rate at a clean and hospitable hotel. Thanks again X.....your smile and personality made the difference. P.S.- We lost power during a thunderstorm for a few hours and the staff handled everything in a professional manner. Good training must have occured for these circumstances because they were ready to assist everyone throughout the darkness. Good Job!!!

nice people, outdated motel
11/11/2008For the price we paid $$. it was not too bad. good breakfast, but the bedding and decor shows its age. great service and good location for college and hospital!

This hotel was great! The front desk staff is very helpful, and they are more than willing to go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The hotel has a little lounge on the second floor that's quaint, relaxing, and the bartender is very personable. The rooms, pool, lobby, and breakfast area were spotless. I'll definitely go back!
