When we arrived to check in at the front desk we were greeted with much friendliness. When we asked for directions to our destination the clerk gave us his own personal map of Lorain Co. which was very considerate. However, I was not pleased with housekeeping. The next day we were not given clean towels nor was the room tidy. The continental breakfast was okay.

i would never stay there again. i have traveled alot in the last few years and i have never stayed some where it was so nasty that i had to sleep in my clothes including pants. there was stains on floor and mattress had a date of new on it from 3-27-92. you cant be serious. that explained how uncomfortable it was. it said in the review it was 30 mins from cedar point it was more like 45mins. i did get lost and the secratary did have to give me directions ( which was very good) other than that i would never stay there again. nasty nasty nasty. stains on floor and bed.

Location was a little tricky to get to, front desk staff was friendly enough. Room had peeling wallpaper, stains on the chairs and carpet. The bedding was well worn and the bed was uncomfortable. The breakfast space was small for the number of guests. The hotel was convenient to I80/I90 and when heading west from Cleveland. Look at others at this exit for better value. Glad I only had a reservation for one night. It was late when we arrived or I would have changed hotels once I saw the condition of the room. Did not need internet service but it was not available at this hotel. Stayed at Comfort Inn further east on the way back for about the same price. Much cleaner and had wireless internet service.

We had an Alzheimer patient with us and a male who couldn't walk very far. Best Western worked with us for the best location of our room. We were more than satisfied with their hospitality, cleanliness and overall appearance. We even joked with the maintenance attendant and he joked with us. They made us feel very welcome and I definitely would recommend this Best Western to anyone in the Elyria, Ohio area. I know we will stay there again when we are in that area.
