  My mom and I were in Omaha for the Olympic Swimming Trials looking for a cheap hotel. Prices were a little elevated because of the event, but compared to other places, it was acceptable for the money. Its between the Cross Roads and West Roads Malls on Dodge. Olive Garden down the street--but GREAT local restaurant called Danny's Bar and Grill at 72nd and Blondo--try the Jack Daniels Chop Steak! As for the hotel room, it was a little musty smelling, beds did appear to be clean, bathroom was okay, a little mold around the sides, but the shower curtain appeared clean, shower was tiny--had to turn sidways to keep the wet curtain from sticking to me, had to go to desk to ask for trash can and light bulb for lamp. Check in was easy enough since we had booked and paid ahead...the clerk was a little distant, but not rude.

  No batteries in remote. floors needed cleaned better. dirty bathroom. suspicious stains on towels/sheets.
