I wish this staff could work at some of the finer hotels I have stayed at. Friendly, knowlegable, and professional. Trouble is; this is an old hotel. Rooms were clean and well appointed, but still small and dated. Overall ,worth the price and plesantly surprising experience. There are newer larger hotels in the immediate area. They were all booked. This hotel team made the best of what they have and present it well.

We stayed at this hotel from January 16-January 18,2009. The night manager was very helpful, as well as the assistant. The weather was -35 degrees wind chill, and our room was on the west side, where the wind was blowing from, our room was very toasty warm and inviting. We had plenty of warm water. Nice big TV screen!! The continental breakfast was well stocked, and maintained. We found all hotel personnel to be friendly and helpful. Upon returning to our room at the end of the day, we found the room to be neat with fresh bedding and towels. The lighting was very good, and we felt very safe in this hotel. It is located close to plenty of good restaurants, many of which you can walk to, although we opted not to walk due to the incliment weather. We will definately stay at this hotel again, should we be in the Dayton area while traveling, or for a get away weekend!!! You get a good value for the price of the room!

We are traveling across country and had reserved a room at this property online at a very reasonable rate. Upon driving up, we were hesitant as some of the rooms have door to the outside. We were pleasantly surprised to see home warm and cozy the hotel was as we entered the lobby. There were fresh cookies and drinks and the front desk staff was very kind and professional. This hotel has been completely redone! The rooms are small but have very nice decor and clean, white, fresh bedding. Upon depositing our luggage, my husband and I headed to the outdoor pool to relax after our long drive. There is some traffic noise at the pool but we and the other guests enjoyed the pool area. If was very clean, nice chairs and towels on each chair along with a basket full of noodles and other toys to use. The other nice amentiies were a free "light supper" in the evening. Unlimited chicken wings, muffins, cookies, fruit and lemonade...YUM! In the evening a gentlemen also goes to each room with a cart full of goodies asking if you would like another free snack!! We had a candy bar and waters but he also offered chips, beef jerky, drinks etc.... How nice!!! We slept well, my husband got to use the huge gym next door for free in the morning just by showing his room key! Breakfast was also delicious! What a great hotel for the money...we really appreciate the wonderful staff and all the little extras they provide...would recommend this to anyone!!!

Just wanted to write a review now that the construction is over. Easy access from the interstate, but not a lot of traffic noise. You could, however, hear nearly every footstep made by the people staying in the room above you. Not great for a light-sleeper. I was happy to find out that the complimentary continental breakfast is put out at 4:00am so that those with early flights can still eat. Enjoyed the airport shuttle, but if you're planning to stay at this hotel and leave your car while you're away on a trip, it will cost you more. You need the Park-n-Fly rate - we didn't find this out until we checked into the hotel and were charged extra for parking. All in all, a good stay.

I had to remove a think layer of plastic covering that was taped to it. My room was almost unbearably hot--I turned off the heat and turned on the air conditioner which did not work since it was covered due to the renovations they were working on outside my door. Took 2 days to figure out how to flush the toilet properly. Was locked out of my room because the doors stick unexpectantly.
