A bit smaller than average, my room was both clean and pleasant. The mattress was very soft, which I prefer, and the pillows were both thicker and softer than the hard, flat ones typically found in motels. The room featured a flat-screen (but not LCD) television and the AC/Heat was controlled by a wall thermostat that worked much better than the controls found on most motel room units. The desk staff member I dealt with was competent if not very friendly. The breakfast selections were typical of today's breakfast fare in motels.

Night 1: My daughter found a can in her bed. One of Two elevators working.
Someone was given *our* room and attempted to enter our room as we slept at about 2:00 AM. The banging woke us because, thank goodness, we used the lock with the loop and sliding thing. His card did open the door.
No waffles in the morning because the maker kept shorting out and took the microwave down with it. Our key cards didn't work the next morning.
The toilet clogged in the morning. My husband called the front desk. They asked what we wanted them to do. He asked if they had a plunger. They said they will look, then called us back in about 5-10 minutes and said "he could come down and get it"!!! He got to walk through a lobby of breakfast eaters with a toilet plunger... Pleasant.
Night 2: The tiny pool looked about 10 x 20 ft. but it was indoors, and there was a hottub. While our girl swam I waited for the computer in the lobby to be unused. The young man at the computer had his McDonalds mess all over and was there from 5:00PM until 6:30PM before I asked the front desk if there was another. The attendant yelled across the lobby at "his friend" to get off the computer so we were able to check the location of a local business we needed.
We didn't get the wake up call we requested. (Use the provided alarm clock!) The breakfast area was still "shorting out", which meant cold breakfast again. And now Two of Two elevators not working.
We get to use the stairs from the top floor. YAY!!!
Worst Hotel Stay Ever!

Been to more hotels than I want to remember and from the cheapest to the most expensive the beds and pillows were terrible in all. This hotel actually had a decent bed a good pillows. Got the best night of sleep I can remember in a hotel. For a modestly priced room I was delighted.
