I can't disagree more with the other review. This hotel has not been updated since 1970. The beds are really hard and have only three tiny pillows for the big king-sized bed. Every fabric, from the comforter to the curtains, are dingy and 30-years old. The furniture looks like stuff you'd find at Goodwill and completely mismatched. The whole building creaks, which means I heard the family upstairs running around until late at night and as early as 6:30 a.m. The exterior is old and dated and the interior is awkward and covered in mirrors. Basically, this hotel is stuck in 1972. The only benefit is the location, which is good. But I say, spend the extra $ a night and stay at one of the better hotels.

We really like the Owyhee Plaza! The rooms were very clean and the bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Very cozy and nice! The only complaint I have is that the walls were not very sound proof at all (but what hotel is), so we did hear some loud neighbors late at night. But it wasn't that big of a deal and they weren't loud for very long. For the most part the place was wonderful! The gentleman at the front counter was super nice too! The location is great too. Right downtown and close to fun shops and restaurants!
