Front Desk manager was rude and unhelpful but rest of experience was great. BTW Avoid Paradise Boat Rentals... They nickel and dimed us over a wake board that was damaged before we rented it. They stuck us with a $* charge after we had spent over $* on renting a boat. They were unreasonable and rude. Avoid them

The hotel is not bad but it is far from restuarants or much of anything else. The rooms are big but most things did not work in my room. The light switches did not turn on light and the clock / radio was wired in to a light switch so the light had to be on for the clock to work. Makes it tough to sleep - or tell time whichever is more important to you. The coffee maker was broken and the remotes did not work the LCD TV. There is no internet service there either. Really all that was minor stuff that was easily taken care of but the biggest issue was the extra charges. They charge you $15.00 per day resort fee that I had not been informed of prior to the stay or on check-in. The check-in form did show the fee but did not show that I would be charged for it. Upon check-out I was charged for two days. When I disputed it I was basically ignored by the staff. I called the manager and sent e-mails which went unanswered for weeks. Only today, six weeks after my stay was I finally told they would not refund the charge. I realize this may sound petty but it is more the way it was handled that bothered me. It is like the airlines charging to check baggage. But I should've been told about it before hand and wasn't. The staff was no help at all and bordered on rude. If you stay there watch out!

We were very pleased with the room we had. We had a little balcony that looked over the beach and a separate sitting area from the sleeping area. The room was clean and the bed was fantastic. There appears to be many lake and beach activities available, but the weather wasn't cooperating during our stay. The dining room was close by and the food was very good. We will definitely stay there again..
