Because of the length of our stay (20 days), we received an additional discount from our usual government rate. Our king one-bedroom suite was very comfortable and very clean. Maid staff was very attentive and went beyond duty to accommodate us, providing extra coffee, cookies and popcorn. Full size refrigerator with ice maker, 2-burner stove top, microwave, and coffeemaker are also provided. Televisions in LR and BR, too. The closet was large and provided ample storage room for our long stay. The only complaint was lack of drawer space, which was less than we needed.
Inside corridor rooms look onto a courtyard (covered with snow most of the time we were there), where you can grill and play outdoor games when weather permits. But the year-round indoor pool was wonderful-clean, well-kept and fairly large. Poolside furniture and towels provided as well as changing and shower room.
Breakfasts (7 days week) and dinners(Mon-Thur) are included in price. The breakfasts include belgian waffles, hot and cold cereals, fresh fruits, usually a breakfast meat and eggs, as well as breads, bagels, muffins and condiments. Dinners can range from hot dogs to beef stew and there's always a salad with condiments and a soup of the day. Plus red, white wines, beer, and sodas. Trays are provided is you prefer to take meals in your room, but the dining area has a large fireplace and a plasma TV and overlooks the outdoor courtyard.
The laundry room is kept spotless and the hotel does offer laundry and drycleaning services. Small store provides small assortment of food and toiletry items. USA Today provided free M-F.
All in all, you get a lot for your money. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The suites are comfortable, clean, as are the grounds.
We'll be back again!
