Initially I was put off by this hotel. The elevators were slow, you have to pay for internet (which I don't mind doing at a $night hotel, but for a $$/night hotel....I want everything included). The room was nice enough, though a lot of road noise where I was (close to I-10) side. When I checked out the receptionist comp'd the internet and was quick checking me out, so that was nice. This hotel IS in a great area as far as restaurants and night life. I DID like being able to check in on line by the front desk and print my boarding pass. Overall it was about 3.5 stars for the money!

i had the pleasure of staying here with my family for the thanksgivng weekend. it has been a long time since i have stayed in a hotel that has made me and my family so comfortable. and the only complaint i can make is the rooms do not have microwaves and when traveling with an infant that can be inconvenient. the rooms were clean the, beds were comfortable, the hotel even smelled good. the staff was polite i was very impressed. good job mariott baton rouge.
