Nice place to stay, great view from beachfront room. True, elevators and hallways are HOT, but it's OK. Close to restaurants, gas, grocery, liquor and drug stores (Super Wal-mart is close). Terrific beach, pool is OK, but it didn't seem to have much sun, maybe we weren't there at the right time, and you can't see the beach from the pool area. Very friendly staff and good housekeeping. Convenient location, easy to get to and easy to come and go while we were there. Very laid back and safe atmosphere. Eat at Lambert's in Foley-go hungry and expect a TON of leftovers-it's good to have a fridge and a microwave in your room. Make sure you go to LuLu's, we will return to the area specifically to go there! Skip Bubba's. You can have breakfast overlooking the beach at The Hangout.

From the check-in the staff was great, It is a beautiful hotel on the gulf, big room, clean, comfortable bedding with many pillows.The cook to order breakfast was tastey. Can't praise the Hilton enough PROBLEM is where it is at. Gulf shores is a very disappointing place. If you want to wake up in the morning and stay on the beach it is nice. But very little else to do. Shopping in Foley at the outlets is good for one day. Few things to do in Gulf Shore must drive about an hour to Mobile. A few good restuarants Cosmos has very good food. We had planned to stay 4 days in Gulf Shores but left on third day. Once again the Hilton is great can't miss staying here.

By far the best stay we've had in a beachfront hotel. In the past we've found other hotels to rely on the great location and everything else lacks in quality. Not only was my pool view room exceptionally clean, but the balcony also offered a beach view better than some condos . My family despises the large high rise sardine cans that make up most newer construction so have been accustomed to much lower standards than this hotel apparently uses. The staff were extremely helpful and for a change I felt like a valued guest. The bath towels and bed linens were pristine and of high quality. I felt like I could plan a vacation trip with this as an option rather than the condos my family prefers, especially if they offer suites. My bill was delivered on the morning of my checkout and if I was satisfied (which I was) all I had to do was phone the front desk to check out. Excellent hot tub and pool bar.

Our overall stay was pleasant. The room was clean. Our only complaints were the hot hallways, the long and hot elevator rides, and not enough pillows. Beach access was great, didn't have to go out too far. Price reasonable for stay. I would stay again.
