The hotel looked so bad that we could not stay there and refused to let us change or cancel the reservation. I called them early at like 330 PM and told them it was unsafe, they said the payment had went thru and there was nothing they could do.

I only stayed one night, (to break up the long drive back to NJ from FL) and this was my experience... To put it quite plainly, this motel is a place I will never go to again nor reccommend to anyone at any price. It's not even a decent place to sleep for a night. Mostly, my reason for this is it felt extremely unsafe. As soon as we pulled up to the hotel we knew we had made the wrong choice picking this hotel. Going into the ""lobby"" felt like a scene from the movie VACANCY (rent it if you haven't seen it and you'll know what I mean). Very creepy. I didn't have my husband with me, I enver would have stayed. In fact, I asked to cancel but the desk clerk said I had already been charged the full rate with no refund possible. So we tried to make the best of it, and went to the room. The room wreaked like urin. I thoroughly checked the beds for stains and bugs. To my surprise the matresses were not that bad. I could go on and on about how bad this place was...in fact to all people checking the reviews...I would not even reccommend staying in Lumberton at all. We encountered quite a few shady characters walking the streets when we were trying to find a decent place to eat. Seriously...you will be sorry. Although a bit farther South(1 hour), Florence SC is much better choice. Oh, and the continental breakfast was a joke...YUK. Good luck.

rooms here are big, clean, and has everything Microwave, Fridge, Wireless High Speed Internet, Coffee Maker...etc.... all restaurants are near the hotel and also staff was really nice which you don't see many places....half way from FL to NY... perfect for my trip.... i am stayin here on my way back....
