  We stayed at the Howard Johnson to be in close proximity to the Mercer County Park for a triathlon event. The hotel is very conveniently located in Route 1 at the intersection with another main street, and it is also next to a decent diner. This makes the hotel very accessible either from route 1 or adjacent areas. The hotel room provided a microwave, small refrigerator, coffee machine, iron and ironing board, and even a hair dryer. The room was clean and roomy. Charlie, the receptionist, was very friendly and helpful in providing directions to us over the phone. The stairs (particularly the carpet) could use some renovation/cleaning, but overall the hotel offers a fairly good service for the money.

  I like this hotel. I stay at a lot of the hotels in this area, and for the money, this one offers the most amenities. You have the pool, the diner next door and a lame but free "continental breakfast" in the morning. The size of the two double bed rooms is impressive and each room comes with a small fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker and a real plus, a progamable by you, safe. Compared to many of the places here along the route one corridor in Lawrenceville, for what you spend, you will get the most room and add ons. Definatley a place to come back to.

  I stayed at this hotel before and was stuck here because another hotel was sold out and walked me there. From my last stay years ago the place has greatly improved all brand new furniture and newly remodled bathrooms 5/07 and the internet was really good. Also the restaurant on property was very convenient for me.

  The hotel was not bad. Apparentley there;s all new furniture, All bathrooms had been renovated end of April begining of May, and all new carpet in rooms. They also had a restaurant on property which we got a discount for being a guest. We stayed there for an event at rider university and the hotel was only a mile or two. I think the quality for the price was good. I would recommend staying there again.
