After late nite checkin we wandered down smelly hallway to find our room; decked out in discolored sheets and OLD blankets. We immediately got a refund (saw a roach on sidewalk on the way out...figured he couldn't take it either). See Quality Inn at same location for excellent review

We read the positve reviews here, and we were very disappointed. The bed was slanted due to a collapsed bed-frame. There was a large dead cricket in the middle of the room's floor (when was this room last cleaned?), the sliding glass door was sealed with duct tape, and I could feel individual springs poking out of the mattress pad. The general feel of the room was gross.
The check-in/check-out ladies were very pleasant, and our dog loved the 1st floor sliding glass door that went out to a big field. It was a great walking area for him! -

This motel has basic accommodations if you're just looking for a clean room to relax and spend the night and don't want to spend a fortune. You can get a lower rate by using hotel coupon books. The pool area looked okay but I didn't get to go in since we were very tired from our drive. The room itself was clean, the bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean,but could use some remodeling and renovation. They could also use some better quality towels and wash cloths have more toiletries in bathroom.
It is easy to find off the I-95 and has good places to eat such as Dennys, WaffleHouse, Mcdonalds, Hardees. They are also pet friendly and their fee is reasonable $* per pet. -

Truly pet friendly. I called for a reservation, I was offered a first floor room that opened on to a grassy field. Perfect! Room and bathroom were spotless. Pool was clean and well maintained. I was so pleased with our stay that I booked a return visit on our way back north . We even got ""our"" room again! Someone there understands the value of personal touch! I plan on staying at this Howard Johnsons whenever we travel south in the future! A great value.
