I booked this place, nothing great, but decent. When we got to the hotel, the whole front side rooms are boarded up and vacant, the hallway lights were all broken, the room was dirty(linens, floor, bathroom had hair everywhere), the guy working switched our room but wasn't much better. Please do not stay here we ended up leaving and paying for another room. I am a college student and was up here to look for apartments and it really hurt to have to shell out $80.00 for a room that was so unfit I had to go and pay for another room at the Crown Plaza down the street.

First, the hotel was hard to find because it is being booked as America's Best Value, but the sign outside says Howard Johnson. This hotel was so disguisting, I could not stay there one night. The room smelled bad. The hotel itself looked more like a homeless shelter than a hotel. Strange looking people were hanging around all of the buildings and even at the front desk. There was no form of security present. It was very scary.
The room did not have any of the amenities that it was supposed to have. Not even a coffee maker. The room looked like it had been robbed. One of the chairs in the room was a plastic chair one would use in a back yard. The walls had holes in them, the floor was very dirty, the phone was missing it's buttons and was very sticky. The bathroom was horrible and to add insult to injury, they won't even give me my money back. -

We stayed two nights, and they knocked on our door the first morning to give us clean towels, but they never cleaned the room the whole time we were there; never touched the bathroom, never came into the room at all to clean it. I will never stay there again.

The people were very nice. The facility is a wreck. The rooms smell of urine. The water smelled of sulfer. The outside of the building was in disrepair. Any option is better than this; even your car.
