Located on Route 41 near Colonial Blvd with easy access in all directions. The room was clean and functional. It had a TV, frig, microwave, coffeemaker, wireless connection and a desk for the laptop. Bathroom was clean and functional. King size bed was comfortable. Local calls were free. Breakfast was basic: cereals, waffles, toast, OJ; but just across the road is Mel's diner. The exterior of the hotel is a bit shabby, but the room was as good as any. For a few days in the area it was quite adequate and low in cost.

Although inexpensive, you get what you pay for. They say they do not allow pets but the room smelled of a dirty dog and the carpet had been clawed up at the door. The carpet was dirty and appeared to never been cleaned. The bedspread was stiff from the lack of cleaning. At 9:30 one morning the maid knocked on the door and informed me that I would take room service at that moment or not at all. She was very hard to communicate to as she barely spoke english. I tried to explain that I could be out in 15 minutes but she just replied ""No--Too late"". The first night someone in another room had loud music playing until after 2:00 AM. The pool did not seem to be heated as it was very cold.

The hotel was ok; the location is kind of weird (it's behind a building-- but there's a sign of the hotel in front of that building). The hotel room wasn't good; I thought smoking rooms weren't permitted to have anymore? Since the room we chose was smoking (when we thought it was non-smoking) it had a horrible stench of cigarettes throughout the room. The room's cleanliness was not bad (we had all the necessary stuff available). The only thing killing the hotel stay was the foul cigarette's smell. Overall, I think its an affordable price for a hotel stay but I definitely would rather pay a few extra dollars to stay at a different hotel.
