  My family stayed in this hotel in September this year. I was very disappointed in this hotel compare it to other Howard Johnson hotels. This one was old and had awful smell on carpet. We also found some blood stains on a bed sheet. I do not think I will recommend my friends to stay there.

  clean but somewhat sparse continental breakfast (compared to others we've enjoyed); would love to have had whole grain options
  wonderful room amenities (frig, hair dryer, tub or shower, table and desk, iron & board); only complaint here was shower was impossible to regulate between hot and cold
  not enough time to take advantage of pool/spa, so can't comment
  we were glad for pet option - great area near for taking him out
  only Denny's close, but more options other side of freeway and nearby next exit

  Our ""non-smoking"" room reeked! Our clothes smelled of smoke after being in the room. I have never stayed in even a ""smoking"" room that smelled as bad as this one! The carpet needed vacuumed, and it was generally not kept up. Do not stay in this hotel!

  The non-smoking rooms all stink of cigarette smoke. the guest computer doesn't work. no electricity in the breakfast room. unpleasant and rude staff. we had hot water on ...

  The non-smoking rooms all stink of cigarette smoke. The guest computer doesn't work. No electricity in the breakfast room. Unpleasant and rude staff. We had hot water on 2 out of 4 days. This hotel SUCKS!!

  Many of the people there were transient workers who must stay long term. They were quiet but the place overall was quite dirty. The mgr did give us the name of a good indian restaurant in Kent.
