I am sitting in my room at the Hampton Inn right now. I am actually not checking out until tomorrow (March 14th), buit the review option would only let me select up until the 12th.
The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. That is where any and all benefits stop. The walls are paper thin and I hear people in the adjacent rooms and the hall as they walk by or talk. My toilet runs about every 20 minutes or so and though I have reported ther problem (very politely) twice, it has still not been fixed. I was even in the room when one of the maintenance crew arrived and I explained that the seal between the tank and the bowl was faulty. The moved the float up and down a few times and said it was fixed. IT WAS NOT! My concern was over the volume of water being wasted...not the nose...but that would bother some. I am in room 620.
There is a large gap under the door. I think the hotel planned this as they are able to slide the complimentary copy of USA Today under the door rather than leaving it outside like all other hotels do.
The breakfast is OK. There is a hot options but it, so far, has consisted of running scambled eggs mixed with some mystery meat. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Other wise it is good.
The "High Speed" Internet service is anything but High Spped. Connecting is easy but you have to input your code everyday even if your are staying for multiple days and it is very slow! They need a new ISP or a new IT provider. Poorly set up. STAY FAR AWAY! -

Stayed here on a business trip, and found it a great value. Rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable, complimentary hot breakfast buffet exceeded expectation, and staff was courteous and helpful. All that and it was less expensive than the other places. Yes, I'd stay here again - no question.
