Our faily recently visited the NC Zoo in Asheboro and had the occasion to stay at this hotel. What a great choice because in our opinion, this was the best value for the money. The beds were comfotable and CLEAN, the bathroom was quite nice and heck, even the carpets were new and clean! Great place to stay centrally located to anything that you may need and the staff was great too! We will definitely stay here again!

Overall, the hotel was nice even though they were renovating. However, the noise level was atrocious! The walls and ceilings were paper thin and the simple task of walking around in the room above sounded like a herd of animals walking above us (until 3 AM). The external doors slam loudly and most of the neighbors didn't call it a night until well after 2 AM. The client above us over-filled the shower causing a torrent to spill into our bathroom. When I went to the desk, they offered a room change, but informed us that there was no maintenance until the next morning...Choose another hotel!

08/29/2008Easy to get to, an elevator is available. free hot/cold breakfasts were great, even fresh fruit. pools available. great for families. would be glad to stay here again.

we took the kids to the n.c. zoo , The zoo was hot , and we were tired , the room was even better than expected, very clean, and even smelled clean , The kids loved the indoor pool. After all the walking I loved the spa. The beds were the most comfortable I have slept on, when on a trip. Even the pillows were not the little thin ones where you can put 2 in a pillow case. We loved it and would highly recomend it if you are staing in the area

This was a great hotel - the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean - the bathroom was clean and stocked. We asked for and got extra pillows and blankets. The pool area was so clean and nice! I saw an employee checking chemicals while we were there so they keep track of it well. The breakfast area seems a little confusing - separate areas for fruit, bread items, cereal. We seemed to be wandering around from counter to counter but the food was excellent. Nice location to all things in Asheboro.
