My boyfriend and I stayed here recently for our trip to Salem. All the hotels in Salem were booked, and this was the closest hotel to Salem. It was the best decision I could've made! The entire staff was very friendly, and extremely accommodating. Our room was available and clean upon arrival. The shower was one of the best hotel showers I've been to. The water was hot and the pressure was perfect. Things that are often taken for granted! The bed was very comfortable and spacious. The room also included a sofa bed and FREE (complimentary) internet. Breakfast was also complimentary, and was served from 6AM to 10AM. There was a wide variety to choose from (eggs, bagels, sausage, yogurt, cold cereal, muffins, and fruit). There were also a few different coffees to choose from. Complimentary shuttle service was offered on weekdays, but not on the weekends. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating though. One of the employees graciously drove us to the local Sea Witch restaurant, since we didn't have transportation (weekend) and she was just getting off work. We were very, very impressed. We've never stayed at a hotel that went above and beyond for us before. Anytime we needed a cab or shuttle service though, the staff was always eager to call and make the arrangements for us. I'm sincerely impressed with this hotel and would DEFINITELY stay there again. We wish we could live there!

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. My only complaint was that the bathroom did smell a little from whatever strong cleaner they use. But better to smell of cleanliness than of other things. Overall very impressed. They had a wonderful continental breakfast as well. Better than some I've had.

I like this hotel chain because I know the standardized quality of the facility means predictable levels of comfort and affordability. The hotel is clean, aesthetically pleasing, and with all the basic comforts, like good bathrooms with basic supplies. The beds are very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful about directions and tourist information to nearby Salem. If one is not picky, breakfast is ample and free.
