Decent hotel with very friendly staff. Also very decent breakfast buffet, including fruit salad and burgers. Bus stop in front of the hotel; bus 163 takes you in 20 minutes to Port Authority bus station near Times Square. This makes the hotel a good alternative if you do not find an affordable room in Manhattan. And it is a much better option than other places I saw, that were a couple of miles nearer to town. The bus going to town was not very reliable, though - on two occasions I had to wait quite long. All in all, good value for money, and a recommendation.

My wife and I usually stay in Manhattan on our trips to NY. Rooms in were scarce this year at a reasonable price, so we chose to stay here. Our room was immaculate. Great pillow top beds. Staff was excellent. Driving to Manhattan was easy, got in and out of Midtown quickly and easily (Lincoln Tunnel) for our Saturday night show, even though the Jets were playing the Giants at the Meadowlands, we had no problems. The free breakfast was excellent, fresh fruit & cereal, an egg dish, assorted breads, pastries and bagels. The area was kept constantly clean & replenished by 2 attendants. Our spacious room cost less for 2 nights than 1 night in Manhattan would cost, and free parking too!

I have stayed at this hotel six times since 2000. Upon checking in, the staff ask if I have stayed here before. After answering ""yes,"" I get a cheery ""welcome back!"" The rooms are clean, high-speed wireless internet reception is clear-as-a-bell, and the breakfast buffet, while not fancy, is included in the room rate and is delicious and fulfilling. I always drive from MA to NJ and then drive into NYC. Even with Manhattan's exhorbitant parking rates, the cost of the hotel room in NJ more than offsets the former.
