  The hotel I normally use when in this area has recently received some very unflattering reviews therefore, my wife and I searched for a new place to stay. The Hampton Inn in Chambersburg looked good but had no reviews to provide a baseline to compare to other hotels in the area. Deciding to take a chance, I called the hotel and found the phone staff to be very helpful and friendly. We received the same prompt and courteous service upon arrival. The lobby, halls and room are all extremely well maintained. Most impressive was the staff in the breakfast area. I observed at least one person and sometimes two people attending to this area at all times. Even with approximately twenty guests using the breakfast area at the same time, several of them children, the area remained stocked and spotless. I was so impressed, I thanked one of the staff members before I left the breakfast area on Saturday. My wife and I have found a new favorite hotel when traveling through Pa.
