We arrived on a very warm Colorado day. As we walked into the building we noticed that the doors leading into the facility were open. Inside it was extremely warm. We assumed it was due to people propping open the doors to bring in luggage. We checked in, took luggage to the room, and as we were leaving we noticed the tempeture had not changed, and the doors were still open. We inquired at the front desk to be told by a staff person that the lobby air conditioning was broke. Further questioning informed us it had occurred several weeks ago and that management had decided not to have it fixed. The next morning, for breakfast about 20 people were very hot while the windows and doors were open and they were trying to eat.
My wife and I went to the exercise room. It had a small window air conditioner and was OK. However, the bicycle and stair stepper were both in need of repair and gave little to the user.
Overall it was an unpleasant stay. I would never expect a Hampton Inn property to be in such poor condition. -
Nightmare!
