I stayed from April 12-13. I never stayed at the Clarion before, but saw the pictures and have to say they don't do the hotel justice. Upon entering the hotel we were greeted and check in was less than a minute. The hotel was quiet and very clean. We stayed in a King Room that was beautiful with a flat screen television, microwave, and fridge. The heater was confusing, but overall the appearance was very nice. The linen on the beds felt so soft and expensive and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. I thought it was continental but it was full. Eggs, bacon, toast, waffles, juice, cereal, fruits and more. The serving staff was very accomodating and I would reccomend this hotel to anyone, young, old, couple, or single.

The hotel was great. The best part of our stay was breakfast and the beds. I slept better here then I do at home. The staff was great and newly renovated rooms are beatiful. Older hotel but with their new lobby you would think it was just built, whrn in Grand Rapid I will only stay here. Keep up the good work guys.

01/31/2007Comfortable accomodations abound at this hotel. the worst features are the""high speed"" internet, which was not very reliable nor high speed, and the batrooms are poorly lit.

The hotel is a little older, but a nice, clean place. Hampton has thought of a lot of the ""extras"" like a lap desk and duvets instead of the typical hotel bedspreads that makes the hotel seem a little more homey. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good.

The hotel was clean and well appointed. They really seem to like having your pet visit. Friendly help. Only downfall was the walls are too thin and inconsiderate people ruin it for others with their loud TVs and voices.
