Stayed in this hotel during a recent baseball tournament in Rock Hill. The hotel was very busy due to baseball / softball tournaments in the area. The facility is very new and the overall quality of the rooms was excellent. Although the hotel was very nice, the staff acted very unprofessionally. We arrived back to the hotel late in the evening on the second night of our stay due to a late tournament game. Evidently, there had been an earlier issue with some rowdy kids in the hotel. Due to this, hotel staff members were stopping any unescorted children and informing them that they could not be outside of their rooms without an adult. This was being done even if the children were moving quitely through the hallways. The manner in which this was communicated to the children was also very unprofessional. The actions of the staff members were witnessed by several parents. When the parents inquired why the children were being treated in such a manner without any bad behavior, the staff member replied in a very unprofessional manner. I would estimate that 80% of the hotel's business was related to the local tournaments. Due to the treatment of the children, I will never use this hotel again.
