  I always like Hampton Inns because of their comfortable beds and the free breakfast. You will not be disappointed in the beds because Hampton prides itself on its comfortable beds. They are great! This particular Hampton Inn is close to the mall and relatively convenient to Notre Dame University. (I had been warned to avoid the hotels closest to Notre Dame because they are old and expensive.) The only trick to this Hampton is finding it in the dark! It's tucked behind the Marriott Fairfield. I would have given this Hampton an "excellent" for cleanliness except that the shower control was mildewed. It could be easily replaced.
