Our family gets together in North Platte each year. Over the years we have had the opportunity to stay in many of the hotels in North Platte. The Hampton Inn is by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The hotel manager, Richard, made us feel very welcome. The staff was more than helpful. Val, who served breakfast each morning, did so with a smile for everyone as they came to the breakfast buffet. The service was excellent and the staff was very accommodating. It made our visit to North Platte very special. We no longer look at other hotels as an option. We are happy to stay at the North Platte Hampton Inn.

The hotel is great. I'd compare it favorably to one of the updated Courtyard hotels but at a better price. Clean everywhere. Friendly staff. Nice bedding and linens. Set up so you can get work done in the room if you want to. There is a restaurant just across the parking lot, but I drove up the street a few blocks to go to the San Pedro Mexican restaurant on Jeffers street. The coolest part, however, is that the hotel is next door to the Fort Cody Trading Post, which must be the largest Wild West Gift Shop in the world! When I was there it was too cold to take in the outdoor parts of the Trading Post, but the miniature Wild West show was a hoot!
